Advertising and consent

Free versions show ads served by Google AdMob. On first launch:

  • in the European Economic Area, the UK and Switzerland, a consent form (Google UMP, IAB TCF certified) lets you accept or refuse personalized advertising;
  • on iOS, Apple asks whether you allow tracking (App Tracking Transparency). If you decline, the advertising identifier is not accessible.

If you refuse, non-personalized ads may still be shown. You can change your mind at any time: on iPhone under Settings › Privacy & Security › Tracking; on Android under Settings › Google › Ads; or by reinstalling the app to see the consent form again.

The remove-ads purchase (ColorRush) or GuessRush Premium turns ads off.

Camera (ColorRush, experimental AR mode)

The experimental AR mode, off by default and available in the settings, uses the front camera to detect the position of your hand. Frames are analyzed in real time on the device (Apple’s Vision framework) and are never recorded or transmitted, to us or to anyone else. Camera access is only requested if you start this mode, and you can revoke it in iOS Settings.

Recipients and processors

Your data is only accessible to Tonic Studio and the following providers, strictly for the purposes above:

  • Google AdMob (Google Ireland Ltd) — advertising. Google’s policy · How Google uses data
  • RevenueCat (RevenueCat, Inc., USA) — in-app purchase management. RevenueCat’s policy
  • Sentry (Functional Software, Inc., USA) — crash reporting. Sentry’s policy
  • Apple and Google — app distribution, payments, Game Center. These services are governed by their own privacy policies.
  • Our usage statistics are sent to a server operated by Tonic Studio.

We do not sell or rent your data.

Transfers outside the European Union

Some providers are based in the United States. These transfers rely on the EU–US Data Privacy Framework where the provider is certified, and otherwise on the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses.

  • Data stored on the device: until the game is uninstalled.
  • Usage statistics: 13 months maximum.
  • Crash reports: 90 days maximum.
  • Purchase history: as long as needed to manage purchases and meet legal obligations.
  • Support emails: 3 years after the last exchange.

Your rights

Under the GDPR, you have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, object to and port your data, and to withdraw your consent at any time. French residents may also set instructions regarding their data after death.

Since we don’t know who you are, please mention the game concerned and, if possible, the approximate installation date; we may ask for additional information to locate the data linked to your installation. Email us at [À COMPLÉTER : e-mail]: we reply within one month.

You may also lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority — in France, the CNIL. California residents: we do not sell or share personal information as defined by the CCPA.

Children

Our games are not specifically directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data about them. If you believe a child has provided us with data, contact us and we will delete it.

Security

All communication between the games and servers is encrypted (HTTPS). Access to data is restricted to the people who need it.
